Manuscript du Puy.
Original from the cathedral of Puy-en-Velay, the Manuscript du Puy consists of a manuscrit from the 12th to 16th century, which incudes chants for the Good Year offices, being a precious stament of the musicocogical evolutions in the period stated. The descovery of the manuscript dates back to the year of 1885, when Abbé Payard, after exhaustiv search, found a manuscript with a diversity of chants from the Middle Ages to the Renaisance, richlly illuminated. The texts from the manuscript were promptly published, but short after the manuscript desappeared, beeing rediscovered recently, toguether with a copy. Musically, it is extreemly rich as it reaches a period of over 350 years, scoping from the middle ages's gregorian chant to the renaisance's poliphony
